Cindy Johnson

My Finnish heritage exposed me to handwoven textiles as I was growing up.  My family had rag rugs in the sauna, wool rya rugs on the walls, and old raanu bedspreads at the cabin.  After college, I set out to learn how to weave these.  The path has led me to meet many wonderful weavers and to learn more than I could have imagined.  My first choice is still to design and weave Nordic patterns.
